Achieve a Brighter Smile with Teeth Whitening on the Hibiscus Coast

Over time, teeth become stained and lose their bright, white appearance. Discolouration of the enamel (the porous outer layer of the tooth) can be caused by a wide range of factors, such as wine, coffee, cola and cigarettes.

As experienced cosmetic dentists, Hibiscus Coast Dental can whiten your teeth to improve the appearance of your smile. Not every whitening treatment is suited to every patient; we undertake a thorough assessment of your teeth to ensure we deliver the best solution.

Obtaining a whiter, brighter smile has never been easier!

How does the whitening process work?

Since many stains are within the outer layer of the tooth (i.e. extrinsic stains), it is possible to lessen their severity via bleaching. Using either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide to break apart the staining compounds, your smile can be visibly whitened.

At Hibiscus Coast Dental, we offer a number of options designed to suit your individual requirements. We offer in-chair treatment options that combine bleach with light activation to deliver near-instantaneous results; this option is great for those with otherwise healthy teeth.

While teeth whitening is a very safe procedure that is generally well tolerated by tooth enamel, in-chair whitening is not a suitable option for every single patient. For those who may have a weaker enamel, we can custom-make a tray that fits over your teeth. This tray can be used with a whitening gel at home to gently whiten your smile over time. If weak enamel is a problem, we can also offer a fluoride treatment to help strengthen enamel and counteract the weakening effect of the bleach.

Whiter teeth are only a phone call away!

If you are searching for a clinic that offers professional teeth whitening on the Hibiscus Coast, we are your cosmetic dentist of choice.

We will undertake a thorough assessment of your teeth, delivering a treatment option that we feel will provide you with the best possible results. In some cases, intrinsic staining (discolouration of the inner structure of the tooth) occurs; as you age, your enamel thins and discolouration within the tooth can become more noticeable. In this scenario, an alternative option such as porcelain veneers may deliver a better aesthetic outcome.
